TC-11® Technical Description and MSDS
General Description: TC-11 Corrosion Inhibitor, Penetrating Oil, and Multi-purpose lubricant.
Chemical Characteristics: Aliphatic hydrocarbon with similarities to diesel fuel, kerosene, mineral spirits, and other common commercial and household products.
Safety: The 13 oz aerosol is a flammable aerosol — the can reads DANGER: extremely flammable. Use away from heat, sparks, and open flame, in ventilated areas.
Transportation: The 1-gallon liquid is not DOT-regulated — the manufacturer's Safety Data Sheet gives a flash point above 200°F (closed cup) and a DOT proper shipping name of "not regulated." The 13 oz aerosol is different: it is a flammable aerosol and the can reads DANGER: extremely flammable.
